Woke up dreaming about a card again. Whoo hoo. Yep from the Kraft colored cardstock to the distressing ink to the squared pieces to the buckles. So here it is. It is beautiful. :0)

Christmas card contest entries
Sarah my SU demo who is uber-talented had a card contest and she just posted the winner. The winning card is stunning.
These were my entries into her contest. I made them with my friend Cindy a few weeks ago in the midst of my car breaking down crisis. At least we were able to get some cards made in the middle of my car being in the repair shop. I used her SU Baroque Motifs stamp set. It actually is such a nice and versatile set. I mean hello- Christmas cards too!! Hmm, maybe I do need it before the new catalog comes out in January to tempt me.
Supplies- SU cardstock- Real Red, Handsome Hunter, Very Vanilla
SU- Ink- Handsome Hunter, Very vanilla- which I then embossed in gold as it didn't stand out as much as I had hoped it would.
Other- SU Brads
Stamps- SU- Baroque Motifs and All Year Cheer I (retired)
My 2nd entry. During the making of my first card I decided that the flowers definitely look like snowflakes as well, and so this card just totally came together.
Supplies:
SU- Ink and Cardstock- Bashful Blue and Very Vanilla
SU- Stamps- Baroque Motifs, Warm Words
Other- Ribbon- SU retired. Brads- SU, glitter- stickles, Paper piercer, Circle punch 1 1/4,
Snowflakes cut out by my dear friend Cindy who doesn't have scissor dyslexia :)

Java, Java, Java
Using what was on my table last week, and this is what was created. The coffee cup sticker is from EK Success, which I found at Walmart as a set for a $1.49. Whoo hoo. I love my Java! At work right now my screen saver is coffee cups and then the power saver screen says Java, Java, Java.
Supplies:
Bazzil Cardstock, SU Sahara Sand cardstock.
SU- Warm words set- happiness and cherish ( I masked the cher and h to get the "is")
Patterned paper- wild asparagus.
punch- large corner- it is the tip part of the arrow.
For 2007, my beverage of choice when going out for coffee is the Grande Sugar free Vanilla Non fat Caramel Macchiatto. Soon though my all time favourite drink will be available. The Egg Nog Latte!! It is my absolute favourite ever. I make sure to drink as many as possible in time that it is available. Starts November 1st. Look for it at your local coffee shop, if not ask for it. You usually start seeing them November 1.

Happy belated World Card making day.
This is all the stuff I had to take with me in my car to my friend's house in order to make that set of cards. he he! Gotta love the home front scrappin' and card makin' space. It requires so much less effort. At the end of the 2 day event- cuz I spent the night and we made cards the next day. My friend said- "you really need a tote on wheels!" Umm. I am not sure that it would help that much. But thanks for the advice, I will keep it under advisement. :) Hope that your Canadian Thanksgiving weekend was spectacular, and I hope that your world card making day was a success

dreaming about cards again
Seriously love that I dreamed about stamps and stamping again!! ( see below post from Oct. 1) This stamp has been in my possession for years!! And it is a square flower in four sizes, you know the cube type of stamp. I dreamed that I used it and then punched it with my circle punch, and so that is what I did!
Supplies:
Cardstock- whisper white, Cool Caribbean- SU.
Stamps- flower- Deborah Farber designs, word stamp Short and Sweet-SU.
Ink- Versamark, basic black-SU
Metal flower-Making Memories.
Punch- Punch Bunch
Patterned Paper- DCWV
I also dreamed up another project too, but I have to find a few more parts, before I can put it together. Let me just say I love these sort of dreams. They are so much better than running around like a crazed nurse dreams!!

Not a winner, but I love it anyway!
Dreamed up this card the other afternoon, literally during my before night shift nap. It was different colors, but the strips, ribbon, corners rounded on one side, and the layers were all there. Ink- Versamark, Chocolate Chip- SU.
